Dr. Jack E. Willoughby

Dr. Jack E. Willoughby was born in Washington D.C. His father spent his career in the Army before retiring in Edmond in 1962. Dr. Willoughby graduated valedictorian from Edmond High School, continuing his education at Central State University, where he graduated cum laude in chemistry. Dr. Willoughby then continued his education at the University of Oklahoma. There he received his dentistry degree from the OU College of Dentistry in 1980. He was a full-time professor of fixed prosthodontics at the college for four years, continuing to teach an additional 11 years on a part-time basis.

 

Dr. Willoughby opened his private practice in Edmond in 1984. He now practices part-time and teaches at the college of dentistry one day a week. Understanding that dental technology is ever-changing, Dr. Willoughby strives to attend and participate in continuing dental education programs and study groups. He is currently involved in the Spears Study Group and is a certified trainer for CEREC. Dr. Willoughby is a current member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, the Oklahoma County Dental Association and the J. Dean Robertson Society Dean's Circle.

Dr. Willoughby and his wife, Laura, are Edmond residents. They have three sons; Grant lives in Oklahoma City, and Taylor and Zac reside in Edmond. Dr. Willoughby and his family attend and serve at LifeChurch, and are involved with The First Tee of Metropolitan OKC. Dr. Willoughby is an avid golfer who enjoys classic cars, skeet shooting and working out.
